The Role

The Reach Kids Intern will support the execution of fun, safe, and Gospel-centered Reach Kids Sunday gatherings. Each week, you will have the opportunity to care for kids, parents, and volunteers in a variety of ways. Through midweek prep, Sunday morning service coordinating, engaging in conversations with kids, and much more, you will play a key role in our mission of helping the kids of Reach to know Jesus, worship Jesus, make friends, and make a difference.

Your Core Responsibilities

‍What does success look like for this position?

Sunday Gathering (5.5 hrs)

• Assist with Reach Kids set-up and tear-down each week.
• Function as the service coordinator at one service each week.
• Fill spots in classrooms, kids check-in, etc. as needed.
  

Midweek (3-5 hrs)

• Attend a weekly 1:1 with the Reach Kids Lead.
• Attend Tuesday staff meetings if possible.
• Gather classroom materials from the Reach Office and bring them on Sundays.
• Manage the charging and transportation of: projectors, speakers, iPads, and printers.
• Assist with one volume curriculum prep day.

The Fine Print

Hours: The Reach Kids Intern will work from 7:30AM to 1:00PM on Sundays, and an additional 3-5 hours during the week. Some weeks will be a bit more; some weeks may be a bit less.

Compensation: This is a part-time position with an hourly wage of $15.00 per hour, and will be a paid role through 8/31/2022.

‍Oversight: The Reach Kids Intern will report to the Reach Kids Lead.
