July 12 – Our First Sunday at Northwest

Beginning Sunday, July 12, Reach will host our weekly Sunday services on the campus of Northwest University in Kirkland at 9am and 11am.

Reach Church has called Kirkland and the Eastside home since 2012. As we follow Jesus together, we gather around tables in living rooms, in coffee shops, and offices throughout the week— and since October 2025, we’ve gathered on Sundays at Juanita High School (JHS).

Thanks to Fernando, the JHS Theater Manager, and support from Principal Ella, we have had an amazing season at Juanita High School. Even though we didn’t anticipate being at JHS forever, in this season we’ve been able to welcome many new families to our community, and we’re pursuing meaningful ways to bless the faculty and staff at JHS.

Unexpectedly, a few weeks ago, Northwest University called inviting us back to campus. After much prayer and discernment, we sense that God is leading us to take our Sunday Services back to NU this Summer.

Why are we going back to Northwest University?

  • Construction is Complete — We're not returning to the same chapel we left; the new additions are beautiful and the building is more functional and spacious than ever.
  • Reach Kids (K–5th) — NU provides more classrooms, which means better Sunday school experiences for each grade level of Reach kids.
  • RY Middle School service — NU offers enough space for our Middle School service to return during the 11am service on Sundays.
  • Care Groups on campus — Care Groups will have dedicated space again on Sundays rather than scattered weeknight venues.
  • Connection & Coffee — The new Prayer Chapel offers extended space for coffee, welcome, and connection.
  • Classes & team meetings — Extra space is available across campus for classes and ministry teams.
  • Our gear stays on campus — Everything we need to host our Sunday services will remain on-site at NU.
  • Three-year agreement — Our three-year rental agreement with NU brings stability and predictability as we continue seeking our permanent home.

While this is not our permanent, forever home, it is a meaningful next chapter of God’s provision for our church. And so, beginning July 12, Reach will again gather on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am in the chapel at Northwest University.

We can’t wait to welcome you back! We are going to have an incredible summer together.

Get involved

Sundays at Northwest will require extra help in a few specific ministry areas. We're recruiting 20 Reach Kids volunteers, as well as growing our Welcome and Response team members. Sign up at reachchurch.cc/serve to join the team!

Additionally, your regular and sacrificial giving to financially support the mission of the church is what makes all of this possible. Your generosity over the Summer is especially appreciated, and all the ways to give to Reach are available at reachchurch.cc/give.
