Maybe you follow Jesus, maybe you used to, or maybe you’re not sure what you believe. Either way, you’re invited into the question: Who are you, really, and can a person actually become new?
Many of us were taught a Gospel that said Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, and now it was our job to try our best to live for him; but that partial Gospel leaves us exhausted and guilty, trying to live like Jesus while still believing that, deep down, we are nothing like him.
The truth about our union with Christ tells a far stranger and better story: a story about what Jesus actually accomplished, what it means that we are made new in him, and whether a real experience of true freedom from sin and shame could be more real now than we think. Jesus did not only forgive what you did; he completely overcame and buried who you were without him.
We’re going to get theological, but we’re also going to get honest as Stephen shares how this message sounded too good to be true to a hard-working Christian worn out by empty discipline, stuck in sin and shame, and wondering why his faith had not freed him more deeply… and how it changed everything.

WE GATHER TWICE A MONTH FOR OUTINGS + GATHERINGS

WHY WE EXIST
20s & 30s was created for young people in the greater Seattle region to experience real faith, friendship, and fun.
If you’re anything like us, you’re used to your friends coming and going around here. In this transient region, it often feels like you’re starting over — and starting over alone. We’re exhausted trying to figure out who we are and where we’re going — all while trying to find our people. It seems like we’ll never not feel behind.
Amidst it all, it’s hard to care about following Jesus. At work and at home — the inadequacy, comparison, and anxiety all compete for our attention and distract us from what really matters. Culture is often dragging us away from exactly where Jesus wants us to go. How do we pursue real faith instead of settling for the bare minimum just to get by? What’s the point? Is it even worth it? In 2025, we need real faith and friendship more than ever.
So that’s what Reach 20s & 30s is going after: real fulfillment in Jesus, and real belonging with one another.
OUR VALUES + GOALS
