Here’s what our meeting rhythm looks like:

1st Thursday – EQUIP Night. We’ll focus on growing through Biblical teaching that helps you live out your faith in Jesus in your daily life. Includes worship, prayer, teaching, and more.
3rd Thursday – FUN Night. A monthly opportunity to simply have fun together! This could be a game night, breakfast for dinner, a movie night, or even pizza olympics! (Ask us about that one.) Anything to share in the joy of being in community together.
2nd/4th Thursdays – DISCIPLESHIP Nights. On these weeks, pre-arranged small groups meet around the city to build consistent relationships, grow together through accountability, check-ins, prayer, vulnerability, and Bible study. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn from leadership, and create healthy mentorship relationships. If you’re visiting for the first time, ask how you can get connected to a Discipleship Group.

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday we meet at 7:30 in Kirkland at the Reach Offices, but sometimes change up the plan, so check our Instagram. If you are planning to visit, contact us below so we can tell you what's up.

Who We Are

20s & 30s was created for young people at Reach to experience real faith, friendship and fun.

If you’re anything like us, you’re used to your friends coming and going around here. In this transient region, it often feels like you’re starting over — and starting over alone. We’re exhausted trying to figure out who we are and where we’re going — all while trying to find our people. It seems like we’ll never not feel behind.

Amidst it all, it’s hard to care about following Jesus. At work and at home — the inadequacy, comparison, and anxiety all compete for our attention and distract us from what really matters. Culture is often dragging us away from exactly where Jesus wants us to go. How do we pursue real faith instead of settling for the bare minimum just to get by? What’s the point? Is it even worth it? In [YEAR], we need real faith and friendship more than ever.

So that’s what Reach 20s & 30s is going after: real fulfillment in Jesus, and real belonging with one another.

Who We’re For

You’re between the ages of 21-35(ish)
You’re not looking for a family ministry with childcare.
20s & 30s feels like the right fit for you. (If the focus of 20s & 30s doesn’t match your season of life, we have many other ministries, events, and Groups at Reach dedicated to other seasons of life that may serve you well. Feel free to opt in or out of 20s & 30s based on your current needs.)

We Meet Twice Monthly

1st + 3rd Tuesdays — 7:00-9:00pm

1st Tuesday: Outings

Expect a casual night of hangs and activities that are like, actually fun. Most of these events will be held somewhere other than the Reach Offices.

3rd Tuesday: Gatherings

Expect worship and testimony, a guest or panel addressing a relevant topic to 20s & 30s, and a time in smaller groups to discuss and reflect. More fun always follows these nights at the After Party.

Hey there! I’m Kelsey.

HELLO! If you’re reading this, I genuinely hope we get to meet! I get to currently express my love for God through serving young adults (20s & 30s), Reach Interns, and college students. THE DREAM.

I’m passionate about pastoring, teaching, writing, dreaming up ideas, equipping, and mobilizing people to get into the Scriptures and live on mission. I’ve led college students since 2014 while working for The INN college ministry (2017-2021), serving as a missionary on The World Race (2016-2017), and earning my Masters through my graduate studies at Seattle University (M.Ed in Student Development Administration, 2016). I started at Reach in July 2021, and I feel so honored to call this place home!

Other fun facts: I was born and raised in Orange County, CA, I have Celiac’s disease (gluten-free foodie!), I’m a proud Azusa Pacific University (’14) grad, and I love adventures (traveling, skiing, camping, hiking, + playing monopoly deal).

Here’s what we're all about:

We take risks for the Kingdom of God.

‍We celebrate taking risks when it comes to hearing from God and being obedient to Him—whether those risks occur during a Thursday night gathering, or out and about in our everyday lives.

We understand that taking risks will sometimes make us, or those around us, uncomfortable; but as a community we seek to create safe spaces for our friends to take risks even when it is imperfect and/or there’s room to grow.

Imperfection and weakness are welcome here.

We do not seek to be perfect, rather we seek to be obedient, honest, and transparent. We believe that vulnerability is bravery and therefore we come as we are but we are also willing to let God and our friends encourage our hearts and therefore leave differently than when we came in.

We outdo one another in showing honor.

We seek to honor one another above ourselves, this means that we serve each other with love and humility. We use our words to encourage and build up, and we refrain from gossiping about one another.
