Meet-up: Building a Trail Through a Beautiful Kirkland Forest Park

“Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland has some beautiful, rarely visited forest areas. We are improving a rough, new trail in one of them for the city of Kirkland’s Green Kirkland Partnership. The work involves trail grading and widening, obstacle removal, cutting back invasive plants, moving and replanting native plants. And time to sit and enjoy the stillness and beauty of God’s incredible creation. This area is a wonderful island of nature in our busy urban lives.“
