Reach Meet-ups are hosted by people in our church community. You can find more upcoming events, including official Reach events, on our Events Page.
This Meet-up is hosted by: Phil Harvey
“It’s fun and kind of satisfying to stop occasionally and gather to be good stewards of God’s beautiful creation. Many of you helped this past summer to improve a new trail through a gorgeous part of Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland. Now, autumn is the time when the city gives us trees and other native species to plant there.
We will get our hands and knees dirty clearing invasive plants and planting native ones… and doing a little trail improvement as well.
And it’s not all work. There will be have plenty of time to stop, enjoy new and old friends and marvel at the beauty of this surprisingly magnificent part of our city that few people have ventured into (until now!)
Tools, gloves and plants will be waiting for you on this Saturday morning (rain or shine, so come prepared). Please wear appropriate closed toed work shoes.
(Optional… stay after we finish to eat lunch together at the host’s home)
Kids 8–16 are very welcome in this event if they come with their responsible adult.”

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for decades, or identify with words like “curious” or “skeptical” when it comes to faith or church, we want you to know there is a place for you here.
