As Jesus turns his eyes to Jerusalem for the final time, every step forward is a step toward his destiny, toward suffering, toward betrayal, and toward a rugged cross. But also toward us — toward our redemption, forgiveness, and healing. He knows there will be no turning back if he takes these steps, and he takes them anyway, because love always shows up.
