The Role

The Reach Kids Intern will support the execution of fun, safe, and Gospel-centered Reach Kids Sunday gatherings. Each week, you will have the opportunity to care for kids, parents, and volunteers in a variety of ways. Through midweek prep, Sunday morning service coordinating, engaging in conversations with kids, and much more, you will play a key role in our mission in helping disciple the kids of Reach.

Your Core Responsibilities
What does success look like for this position?
Sunday Gathering (5 hrs)
- Assist with Reach Kids set-up and tear-down each Sunday.
- Fill a consistent role as either a class lead, classroom volunteer, or service coordinator at one service each Sunday.
Midweek (7-10 hrs)
- Attend a weekly 1:1 with the Reach Kids Director.
- Attend a weekly Kids Team meeting
- Gather classroom materials from the Reach Office and bring them on Sundays.
- Manage the charging and transportation of: projectors, speakers, iPads, and printers.
- Assist with one volume curriculum prep day per trimester.
The Fine Print
Hours: The Reach Kids Intern will work 7:30AM to 1PM on Sunday mornings, and an additional 7-10 hours during the week.
Oversight: The Reach Kids Intern will report to the Reach Kids Director, Jessica Austin.
Compensation: $1,000 total stipend for 7 months (see Program Overview below for details).
Length of Internship: September 2023 - April/May 2024.
Additional Expectations: The Reach Kids Intern is expected to work an average of 12-15ish hours per week. Some weeks will be a bit more; some weeks will be a bit less.
